What’s your entrepreneurial superpower?
Take this free test to discover whether you are a Dynamo, Blaze, Tempo or Steel genius - the four entrepreneur profiles drawn from Wealth Dynamics - and learn how to build a business that works with your natural grain, not against it.
Why it matters
Every entrepreneur has a natural superpower
Most people spend their time fighting against their natural grain rather than working with it. They try to be good at everything instead of exceptional at the things that come naturally - and wonder why it feels harder than it should.
The Genius Test identifies your core strength so you can focus your energy where it has the most impact, delegate the rest, and stop forcing yourself through tasks that drain you.

The four types
What type of genius are you?
There are four genius types, each linked to a season. Everyone has a primary genius - the mode in which they naturally create value and feel most energised.

Spring
Dynamo Genius
Idea generators and pioneers. Dynamos are energised by possibility, great at starting new things, and thrive when they are creating and innovating. They can see opportunities others miss - but can struggle to finish what they start.

Summer
Blaze Genius
People-focused and naturally magnetic. Blazes build relationships and communities with ease, and are energised by connecting others. They are brilliant at promotion, sales, and bringing people together around a shared vision.

Autumn
Tempo Genius
Grounded, steady, and excellent with timing. Tempos are the ones who actually get things done - they are detail-oriented, dependable, and understand the rhythm of what needs to happen and when. The backbone of any solid operation.

Winter
Steel Genius
Systems thinkers and analysts. Steels are energised by structure, data, and solving complex problems. They bring rigour and organisation to everything they touch and are often the ones who spot flaws before they become failures.
How to use your results
Knowing your genius changes how you build
Once you know your genius type, you can make better decisions about where to spend your time, who to hire first, and which parts of the business to delegate rather than push yourself through. It also explains why certain tasks consistently drain you while others energise you - and that distinction matters more than most founders realise.
The most effective entrepreneurs are not those who are good at everything. They are the ones who have worked out what they are genuinely exceptional at and built everything else around that.
The test takes around 3 minutes. Combine it with the free business diagnostic for a complete picture of both your natural strengths and your current business constraints. Or, if you want the thinking behind the framework first, read the Success Framework article.
If you want to go further, the full Wealth Dynamics profile reveals how you naturally create value, make money, and work best with others. It normally costs £97, but I include it free when you book a discovery call.
Common questions
What people ask before taking the test
Is the Genius Test the same as Wealth Dynamics?
The Genius Test is based on the Wealth Dynamics framework developed by Roger Hamilton, which identifies four entrepreneurial profiles (the four geniuses). This version is a free, condensed assessment - three minutes rather than the longer paid Wealth Dynamics profile - and gives you your primary genius type alongside guidance on how to apply it in your business.
How is the Genius Test different from Myers-Briggs, DISC, or Enneagram?
Most personality tests are designed for the workplace generally: team dynamics, communication styles, leadership traits. The Genius Test is built specifically for entrepreneurs and business owners. Rather than describing how you behave in a corporate role, it tells you where you naturally create value in a business, which functions energise you, and which ones drain you. It is more useful for founders trying to decide what to focus on, who to hire, and what to delegate.
Is the Genius Test really free?
Yes. The test itself is completely free, your result appears instantly on screen, and there is no payment or subscription involved. If you would like to go deeper afterwards through one-to-one coaching, the business diagnostic, or the 30-Day Focus Plan, those are separate paid options, but the test stands on its own.
Who is the Genius Test for?
Anyone running, building, or considering a business. It is particularly useful for early-stage founders trying to decide where to spend their time, established business owners feeling burnt out by tasks that should be delegated, professionals weighing up whether to leave employment, and coaches or consultants who want a clearer sense of their natural strength before positioning their offer.
How accurate is the Genius Test?
The test is a starting point, not a final verdict. Three minutes of self-reported answers cannot capture the full nuance of how anyone works. What it does well is surface a strong directional signal - usually one or two genius types stand out clearly - and most people who take it recognise themselves in the result. Use it as a lens for decisions rather than a label.
